Electrical EngineerWe are seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE required) to lead electrical design efforts across healthcare, institutional, and commercial projects. This role involves producing stamped construction documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting full project lifecycle design from concept through construction administration. The ideal candidate will serve as the internal electrical engineering resource and collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, architects, and external consultants.Design and stamp electrical construction documents (power, lighting, grounding, emergency systems)Perform load calculations and size electrical distribution systemsDesign lighting systems and ensure energy code complianceDesign emergency and standby power systems (generators, ATS, etc.)Coordinate fire alarm and low-voltage systems with contractors and AHJsSupport AV, telecom, security, and access control systemsWork in Revit and AutoCAD for BIM coordinationCollaborate with mechanical and architectural teamsReview shop drawings, RFIs, and submittalsConduct site visits and support construction administrationSupport proposals and business development when neededBachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)Active PE license (Electrical PE required)7+ years of electrical design experience in AEC environmentStrong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 110, NFPA 99Experience with Revit and AutoCADStrong communication and coordination skillsHealthcare or institutional project experienceExperience with low-voltage systems (fire alarm, telecom, security)BIM coordination experience in multidisciplinary teamsCompensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
