This role is focused on plant power distribution and large-scale transformer systems, working closely with operations and maintenance in a demanding environment where reliability and safety are critical.Required:BSEE or BSEETHeavy industrial environment – steel, mining, aluminum, foundry or power generationKnowledge of power distribution including switch gear, transformers, AC/DC motors, motor control and drivesExperience with medium/high voltage equipment and substationsExperience managing a comprehensive transformer maintenance programResponsibilities:Engineer and coordinate capital and non-capital electrical projects using plant personnel and contractorsManage power distribution, lighting, cable and conduit installations and related electrical system improvementsSupport and lead in-plant transformer maintenance and reliability programsAssist production and maintenance departments with troubleshooting, process improvement and project supportNice To Have:Experience with AC overhead cranes up to 200 tons preferredAllen-Bradley and GE PLC experience preferred
