This position is located in Columbus, OH.The person selected for this position will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of existing electrical systems as well as supporting the design and integration of new systems.
This position is part of a team composed of engineers, technicians and support staff that provide maintenance and design support for electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems in support of a long-term client program.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing electrical/embedded systems as part of an integrated technical team.Maintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing electrical/embedded systems independently with minimal oversight.Design, fabricate and integrate new electrical/embedded systems.Generating and interpreting electrical schematics.Generating and following installation and testing procedures within a stringent client quality assurance system.Key QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field; 2-5 years of experience or master's degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related fieldMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearancePhysically fit to accomplish required tasking including working from ladders and in confined spaces.Solid grasp of basic electrical engineering concepts and ability to learnExperience with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.Experience with computer languages/programs such as C, Matlab, Word, Excel, etc.Preferred QualificationsCurrently holds or have held a Level 5 TS Clearance in the last five years.Additional work experience in the electrical engineering fieldFamiliarity with electrical engineering design tools and methodsExperience generating and interpreting engineering schematicsExperience working in a lab environment, including preparing, conducting, and documenting tests, soldering, and wiringSignal processing experience, both software and hardware basedExperience with programming in additional languagesBenefits: Live an Extraordinary Life We care about your well-being, not just on the job.
