Job OpportunityOur client is a privately held technology company developing advanced hardware systems. They design and build all their products in-house, and this includes the entire electrical stack — from early design requirements through manufacturing and testing. The environment prioritizes end-to-end ownership, rapid development, and direct collaboration between disciplines.
In this role, you will contribute to every stage of electrical hardware development. You'll work with a small team of engineers to define requirements, create schematics, design printed circuit boards (PCBs), build and test prototypes, and support products through production. The team values individuals who are comfortable working hands-on and who are motivated to move projects forward with limited layers of process or oversight.
Because the company builds systems from the ground up, this position involves direct engagement with both high-level architecture and detailed implementation. The pace is fast and the scope of work is broad. Engineers who prefer narrowly defined roles, lengthy build cycles, or structured processes may not find this work environment to be a fit.Key Responsibilities:Translate technical requirements into schematics and PCB layoutsUse Altium Designer for board design and revisionWork directly with lab equipment to validate and debug hardwarePerform hands-on modifications, such as SMT soldering and reworkCreate documentation for requirements, test plans, and production handoffCollaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineersQualifications:5 or more years of industry experience in electrical engineeringExperience completing a hardware project from requirements through productionFamiliarity with PCB design tools, including Altium DesignerExperience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzersUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and test proceduresCapable of performing board-level diagnostics and physical modificationsU.S.
