Electrical Engineer – Plant Maintenance (Day Shift 7am - 4pm)

$120,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Technical Progression + External Training + Relocation + Sign-on Bonus

Are you an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer from an industrial manufacturing background looking to become the go-to technical expert for a site's electrical maintenance and reliability?

Do you want a role where you can take genuine ownership of preventive maintenance strategy, standards, and capital improvement work—while progressing into a senior-level technical position?

On offer is a long-term position where you'll play a key role in keeping the site running safely and efficiently. You will be the technical point of contact for troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and ensuring electrical work is completed to the required standards.

This company is committed to developing their engineers through external courses and structured progression. Due to ongoing investment and continued activity on site, they are looking to add an experienced electrical engineer to support maintenance improvements.

In this role you will support day-to-day site maintenance, review and improve work plans and procedures, drive preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives, and support capital projects from documentation through contractor support and commissioning.

This role would suit an experienced industrial electrical maintenance engineer who takes pride in site ownership and wants technical progression, increased responsibility, and long-term development.

The Role:

• Site-level electrical engineering support focused on maintenance, reliability, and safe working practices
• Power systems and industrial equipment support (e.g., switchgear, MCCs, transformers, motors, VFDs, protective relays, UPS/emergency systems)
• Drive preventive maintenance strategy, electrical standards, and continuous improvement
• Support capital projects: documentation, scope support, contractor coordination, and commissioning

The Person:

• Strong background in power systems and industrial electrical troubleshooting within a maintenance-led setting
• Comfortable acting as a technical specialist on site and working effectively in a union environment
• Eager to receive training, progress and looking for a long-term career.
