We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ. This is a fully on‑site role offering the opportunity to lead electrical design efforts, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a wide range of complex projects.
Responsibilities:
* Perform engineering calculations and develop electrical system layouts and designs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
* Lead electrical design efforts from concept through construction documentation.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Engineers to define project scope, budgets, schedules, and design strategies.
* Prepare and oversee the production of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Review and coordinate designs with other disciplines to ensure proper system integration and constructability.
* Serve as a client‑facing representative, communicating design intent and addressing project‑related questions.
* Estimate design hours and manage workload to meet project deadlines and budgets.
* Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements and efficiencies.
