ANY VISA NO H1 The manager is open to someone with 2 years or 40 years as long as they have recent Altium, circuit design and product development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development the Smart Products within the SBU during the full product life cycle.
- Help support and maintain existing products as they are developed
- Independently drive solutions to completion
- Connect with and coordinate with engineers in multiple sites
- Ensure these projects follow the appropriate standard process used at Pentair (such as 3D and agile).
- Collaborate with Pentair-wide technical resources to contribute to the following:
- Develop technical product specification based on VOC
- Develop functional block diagram for hardware design risk assessment
- Hardware design & manage PCBA build
- Circuit design, simulation and analysis – experienced in EDAs (Altium)
- Circuit and product risk assessment (P Diagram, FMEA)
- Develop BOM, product costing and manage PCBA build
- Product development, validation, regulatory and production planning
- Develop project plan for system development
- Create validation plan for device and lead risk assessment for manufacturing
- Review product assembly flow plan for controls and containment
- Support product approval for production
- Coordinate with Product Engineer from Filtration Business Unit to develop project plan.
- Work with SBU Product Management and Marketing to identify new value propositions, new revenue opportunities & alternate business models, and create truly innovative and differentiated offerings.
- Collaborate with other functions such as sourcing, operations, customer support, etc. to ensure on-time product launches as well as post-launch support.
- Execute project to established timeline with tight budgetary controls
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years experience in product development and project management
- 2+ years of experience in hardware circuit design & development. Experienced in schematic capture, simulation, pcb stack and layout build. Experienced in power, signal and sensor interface.
- Knowledgeable in wireless radio system design
- Experience in designing products intended for global use
- Experience in collaborating with global technology teams is a plus.
