PE Electrical EngineerOur client is growing their multi-discipline engineering practice and is seeking a licensed PE Electrical Engineer to lead the design of building electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This is a hands-on engineering role with leadership responsibility, technical ownership, and the opportunity to mentor junior staff while working closely with clients.This is a direct hire position for our client.Salary: $70,000 to $120,000 Depending on ExperienceLocation: Greenville, SC (100% Onsite)What You’ll DoAs a PE Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical system design from concept through construction.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Design and engineer power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systemsPerform load calculations, short-circuit and fault current analysis, and coordination studiesDevelop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring layouts, and technical specificationsProduce and review drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)Support construction activities including site visits, submittal reviews, and commissioningCoordinate designs with mechanical, civil, and structural teamsMentor junior engineers/designers and provide QA/QC oversightInterface with clients, utilities, and vendors to ensure code compliance and on-time deliveryQualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) licenseStrong experience with electrical power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitWorking knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable state/local electrical codesPrevious Project Management experienceForensic engineering or failure analysis experience a plusRenewable energy systems (solar PV), generators, or UPS systems experience a plusClient development or proposal writing experience a plusWhy Join UsWork on diverse, technically challenging projectsBe part of a collaborative, multi-discipline engineering teamOpportunity for technical leadership and career growthStrong focus on engineering quality, mentorship, and long-term client relationshipsStable schedule with short FridaysLimited TravelApply today to join a collaborative engineering team where your expertise directly supports growth, quality, and client success.
