Electrical Engineer – LNG FacilitiesThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across LNG peak shaving facilities. This role supports the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of facilities in accordance with applicable regulatory standards.This position manages complex and cross-functional engineering projects while providing technical leadership, supporting operations, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight of electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems across LNG storage facilitiesEnsure consistency and standardization of electrical and control systems across multiple sitesSupport testing, maintenance, and reliability of safety systems, communications, and control infrastructureOperations Support & TroubleshootingAssist operations teams with troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and control system issuesSupport calibration of transmitters, meters, and level sensors in compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide technical support for low voltage MCC and switchgear systemsProject Management & ExecutionLead and manage engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and executionDevelop project scopes, prepare specifications, and review vendor bidsSupport both capital and maintenance projects across facilitiesPerformance & Continuous ImprovementMonitor system performance and equipment condition to optimize reliability and lifecycle costsIdentify and implement improvements to existing systems, processes, and proceduresApply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiencyCompliance & CollaborationEnsure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g., 49 CFR 193, NFPA 70, NFPA 59A)Interface with internal teams, vendors, regulatory agencies, and inspectorsProvide technical leadership, training, and direction to cross-functional teamsAdditional ResponsibilitiesTravel to various facility locations as requiredPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringPreferred Qualifications5+ years of engineering experience in:Industrial environmentsPower generationOil & gas or related industriesAdditional RequirementsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsEOE (including Disability/Veterans)
