Jacob's hybrid work model allows for you to maximize your work-life balance while enabling you to benefit from the in-person collaboration that comes from working as part of a team on complex solutions for some of our nation's most critical aviation infrastructure.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in planning-level aviation assignmentsPerform electrical engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reportingPrepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projectsCoordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design teamPerform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittalsAttend site visits to perform engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activitiesAttend and participate in design team and client meetingsAttend industry-level training and collaboration eventsHere's what you'll need:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skillsRegistered Professional EngineerAirfield lighting and power distribution experienceComputer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledgeUnited States CitizenshipIdeally, you'll also have:A passion for aviationUnified Facility Criteria and Unified Facility Guide Specification experienceFamiliarity or experience with design and analysis software such as SKM, AGi32, Revit, and ArcGISOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.The base salary range for this position is $97,700.00 to $171,000.00.
