Provides technical leadership on projects, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and safety requirements while mentoring junior engineers and supporting cross-functional engineering activities.All roles at Signia are expected to support the company's operating model (SOAR) and contribute to the organization's business value drivers, Profitable New Business, Productivity, Precision M&A, and Value-Based Pricing, through operational excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.Key Deliverables of the Position:1) Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical circuits, subsystems, or control systems.2) Develop detailed engineering solutions that meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.3) Validate designs through simulation, prototyping, and testing.4) Lead development of electrical test plans and support verification activities.5) Mentor junior engineers and review engineering work for accuracy and quality.6) Support engineering reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.7) Coordinate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical designs.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline4–6 years of relevant engineering experienceComprehensive knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical design, analysis, and engineering standardsWorks under minimal supervisionTechnical Competencies1) Advanced electrical system design knowledge and familiarity with circuit design2) Electro-mechanical actuation experience3) BLDC motor and solenoid sizing and performance characterization4) Electrical simulation, testing, and validation including components and systems containing electro-mechanical actuators, motors, and solenoids5) Familiarity with System Safety Assessments6) Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., DO-254, IPC, or similar)7) Advanced troubleshooting and system integration8) Technical mentoring and project leadership9) Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects, including supplier activities10) Proficient Computer Skills: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
