Electrical Engineer II (MES)At Lockheed Martin, our team at the Mount Laurel, NJ site supports the SEMS (Systems Engineering, Modeling & Simulation) Ship Integration Engineering organization. We design, develop, and maintain advanced combat system cabling solutions that enable seamless integration of mission-critical naval and land-based systems. Our work ensures reliable connectivity, interoperability, and performance across complex platforms supporting the U.S. Navy and allied forces.The Work Generate and maintain Combat System Cable Block Diagrams (CBD) and Cable Installation / Interconnection Drawings (CIID), including: Cable Running Sheets (CRS), Minimum Data Sets (MDS), Cable Impact Statements (CIS), Network Maintenance Diagrams (NMD), and Electrical Interface Control Drawings (EICD).
Serve as the responsible engineer for the development of cable products and associated deliverables within the SEMS Ship Integration Engineering team. Review PARM, OEM, and vendor Installation Control Drawings and Technical Data Package (TDP) products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements. Provide engineering support across multiple ship classes and land-based test sites. Conduct ship checks to assess existing conditions and deliver on-site engineering support during installation and testing of new equipment and systems.
Lead peer engineers and engineering aides, ensuring customer requirements and project schedules remain the top priority. Please note: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret level. This position is fulltime onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ.
