Just a few reasons we were named one of Houston's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For!Responsibilities / RequirementsBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or universityLicensed Professional Engineer registration requiredCommitted to continuing education and self-developmentKnowledgeable in designing low voltage and medium voltage electrical power systemsKnowledgeable of NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc.Proficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKMAbility to identify and define design deficiencies and provide solutions through clear and precise communication.Able to estimate future potential projectsSuccessfully lead a project I&E team in the execution of a project by delivering quality IFC documents and maintaining budget & schedule.Possess professional presence and able to work with clients and vendors to resolve issuesSuccessful working in a multi-discipline team environment and can work on multiple fast paced projectsCreate an execution strategy based on the Scope of Work & Design Basis.Maintain client relations by going to site visits, PHA/HAZOP reviews, 30%/60%/90% model reviews, Design Reviews, and Kick-off Meetings.Ability to be a self-starter that requires minimal help to execute a projectProficient with Electrical Engineering software such as ETAP and SKMAble to work with the appropriate level of supervision and accept a high degree of personal responsibility for results.Serve as technical resource to Engineers, Designers, and other departments.Preferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering15 years minimum Electrical experience in Utility, Oil & Gas and petrochemical industryAbility to manage time efficiently across multiple projects.Experience in Power System modeling software like SKM and ETAPKnowledge of Protections relays: SEL, GE MultilinKnowledge of relevant Electrical Codes and Standards including but not limited to NEC, NESC, NFPA, API, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI etc.Independently determine methods and processesSelf-motivatedPE License and NCEES record
