Electrical Engineer Field Applications

Wisconsin Public Service Corp., a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Field Applications to work in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) and includes time spent in the office and at job sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Part of a team responsible for programs that maintain and enhance the electric distribution system to ensure safety and reliability.
• Work on new service equipment start-ups, cogeneration, commissioning, and new service requests.
• Review and approve new installations, designs, and guide designers on building the system.
• Work with customers on new services and equipment requirements.
• Deal with outage and voltage concerns; discuss issues directly with customers and develop resolution plans.
• Ensure equipment is being installed and operated safely.
• Meet with large customers to address concerns and System Work.
• On‑call responsibilities during major storms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical, project management, and team building skills.
• Position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets.
