Electrical Engineer PositionLogos Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to support ongoing technology development efforts at our Fairfax, VA office. This role will contribute to ISR sensor design, high-powered laser systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle integration. This role will include research, design, development, and testing of electronic subsystems and systems for development efforts.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and design of system from initial concept through prototype and low-rate productionResearch, design, develop, and test electrical components, both individually and as part of larger systemsCoordinate and manage subcontractors responsible for component and subassembly manufacturingCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teamsAssist in developing and maintaining project deliverables, including detailed plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, issue tracking, and status reports for both customers and internal management.Experience with ISR systemsCircuit Board Design with Altium or similarExperience with cable manufacturing, including crimping and lacing.Additive manufacturing experience a plusFPGA programming experience a plusCircuit board prototyping and repairQualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 2-4 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories.Familiarity with Altium or comparable circuit-design tools.Experience designing circuit boards, cables, and sensor systems individually and as part of as team.Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.US citizenship
