Electrical Engineer - EngineeringProSidian Seeks a Electrical Engineer - Engineering (Time and Materials | Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation (SRR)) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian Team Members work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre to fulfil T&M - Time and Materials requirements.The Electrical Engineer DS 109 as a Professional Grade position.Electrical Engineer - Engineering Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services andProvide engineering services on assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walkdowns, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Single Line Drawings; Electrical Equipment Lists; Control System Design; Electrical Equipment Specifications; Bulk Material Specifications; Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design; Grounding; Heat Tracing; Fire Detection.Individual at times will be required to travel off Site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineers working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of NEC code requirements. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) will be preferred.

Candidate must have the ability to walkdown systems in the field. A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
