SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be onsite approximately 3 days a week.JOB DESCRIPTION:This position is responsible for providing engineering, modeling and analysis support for prime contractor led design and development of missile and guidance electrical subsystems and sub-assemblies for the Fleet Ballistic Missile D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) program. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The selected candidate will support electrical modeling and simulation of modern package configurations and interconnects under consideration for the D5LE2 program.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 3 or more year of experienceUnderstanding of the systems engineering processUnderstanding of requirements and architecture development/generationElectrical modeling and analysis using tools such as Multisim, PSpice, and MATLAB for circuit analysis and data processingStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to analyze data and make informed decisionsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsInterim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance processPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Understanding of systems engineering technical review (SETR) entrance and exit criteria and associated data products
