Electrical Engineer

Electrical EngineerThe Electrical Engineer will support the electrical design, technical documentation, prototype assembly, and testing of electronic equipment used in vacuum systems and industrial manufacturing environments. This role applies electrical engineering principles using computer-assisted engineering tools and design software to meet project objectives.This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule after completion of an initial onsite training period.Location: Jefferson Hills, PA (Onsite – South of Pittsburgh) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Division: Process Equipment Division Reports To: Electrical Engineering SupervisorKey ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed electrical drawings and schematics to support safe and reliable equipment designsDesign power distribution and equipment control systemsDesign and integrate network communications for equipmentIncorporate RF power supplies into electrical designsDevelop Bills of Material (BOMs) using the corporate ERP systemPerform prototype assembly and testing of components and sub-modulesTroubleshoot equipment issues during the build phaseInspect incoming products from new vendorsUtilize company software tools, including basic project management applicationsSupport estimating and proposal effortsAssist Assembly, Test, Purchasing, and Quality teams with production issuesPerform quality checks on electrical assembly workOrganize and manage project work, including directing designers as neededApply knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and relevant international standards (IEC)Work with industrial control networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet); experience is a plusRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong CAD experience with electrical schematics and drawingsBasic understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practicesFamiliarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, CE)Ability to work onsite in Jefferson Hills, PAPreferred QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD or other 2D drafting softwareExposure to manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machinery environmentsInternship, co-op, or project experience supporting electrical system designKurt J.
