Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic components, circuitry, and electrical systems used in its equipment and hardware solutions.

This role will work on technically diverse and complex engineering challenges involving electrical and control systems, fluid applicators, fluid management systems, automation equipment, and customer line-control interfaces. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work both independently and as part of cross-functional project teams, partnering closely with Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and improve electrical and control-system aspects of products, including fluid applicators, fluid management systems, automation machines, and interfaces with customers' line-control processes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans that generate reliable data and demonstrate compliance with safety, regulatory, quality, and performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic problems using structured, data-driven problem-solving techniques.
• Partner with Mechanical and Software Engineering teams to integrate electrical designs into cohesive products that meet overall system performance requirements.
• Collaborate with product-line management to develop, evaluate, and review technical specifications.
• Work closely with Operations to ensure products are designed for manufacturability.
• Support prototype and beta builds, including hands-on troubleshooting, technical support, and training.
• Evaluate engineering data and apply advanced engineering principles to resolve complex technical problems.
• Support engineering documentation and manufacturing processes, including BOMs and Engineering Change Orders where applicable.
• Manage technical priorities and deliverables across multiple concurrent engineering activities.
• Perform other engineering duties as required.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).
• 7–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Altium or comparable PCB design software.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical block diagrams.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D (Eight Disciplines).
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing/Operations, and Product teams.

Preferred:

• Experience designing and developing electrical test fixtures.
• Hands-on technician, electronics laboratory, prototype, or engineering test experience.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and general manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions.
• Broad understanding of engineering principles across multiple technical disciplines.
• Experience applying advanced engineering methods and adapting established theories or practices to solve complex technical problems.

Pay:

$55hr - $72hr
