Electrical Engineer

Hire Circle are working with an innovative engineering design services company working on cutting-edge projects in the military and aerospace sectors (non-space applications) seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong board-level hardware design experience.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of designing and delivering advanced electronic hardware across all stages — from schematic capture and PCB layout to analysis, simulation, and testing. You’ll work on power board designs that use off-the-shelf, board-mount building blocks from suppliers like Vicor, integrating telemetry, protection, and occasional custom isolated converters such as flyback designs.

What you’ll do:

• Design, simulate, and test complex board-level electronic systems
• Develop power boards using modular components and custom circuitry
• Conduct schematic and PCB layout work from concept through validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance hardware

What you’ll bring:

• Solid experience in electronic hardware design and PCB development
• Knowledge of power electronics and converter design
• Familiarity with worst-case analysis, reliability engineering, or mil/aero standards (preferred)
• A passion for hands-on engineering and delivering exceptional technical solutions
