Senior Electrical EngineerThe Client ADG (Aerospace, Defense, Government Business Unit) Customer Centric Solutions Team is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to work on custom engineering opportunities that enable the sale of standard NI Products. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with NI customers, sales personnel, engineering teams, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to define, document, design, deploy, and sustain NI products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for large scale turnkey engineering solutions. The ideal candidate has experience and knowledge regarding NI products and system level design.Core Job Responsibilities:This is a multi functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, and interface with alliance partners, contract manufacturers, and internal personnel to design, deploy, and sustain custom solutions worldwide. This is a high visibility role within NI requiring daily interaction with NI customers, NI Alliance Partners, NI Sales Teams, NI Engineering Teams, and Executive Management.
The role will include:Interacting with a wide variety of NI customers, NI staff, external alliance partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining of custom solutionsGenerating requirements documents, statements of work, and Bills of MaterialsDefining and implementing project plans, managing milestones, and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deploymentSpecifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated solutionsDirecting support personnel, managing project technical deliverables, guiding technical decisions, and driving field found issues to resolutionTraveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectivesExperience and Skill Requirements:Minimum Requirements:B. S.
