Our goal is to place the customer first while providing quality equipment and services.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, manufacture, and commission medium voltage metal-clad switchgearInvolvement in RFQ proposalsDesign protective relay systemsBench test switchgear post manufactureField installation and start-up commissioningRelay testing and/or commissioning activitiesPower systems analysis using commercially available software packages such as ETAP, SKM, and/or EasypowerTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical functions of relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and disconnect switchesComplete administrative responsibilities as they relate to work activities (expense reports, field reports, testing data sheets, etc.)Work with customer engineering and procurement teams as required to maintain positive customer relationship management skillsSafely perform work task observing best practices, identify, report and correct unsafe or hazardous work areas.Required Job QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringSelf-directed, be able to work independently.Able and willing to travel 25% - 35% of the yearPreferred Qualifications3-5 years of experience in medium voltage power distribution equipment manufacturing (including design and field start-up)EIT CertificationExperience in power systems analysisExperience with AutoCAD LT
