Electrical Engineer 4Duration: 12-Month Contract (with potential extension)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of charging systems for Battery Electric Machines (BEM). The engineer will play a key role in ensuring charging products are safe, efficient, and aligned with global industry standards. This role includes system integration, validation testing, and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document product requirements for DC fast charging systems in compliance with UL, ISO, IEC, and other standards.Coordinate with internal teams to support charging system integration with Battery Electric Machines (BEM).Conduct DFMEA, develop test plans, and perform verification/validation of charging systems.Participate in Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Functional Safety evaluations.Diagnose and resolve technical issues through lab testing and collaborative problem-solving.Operate lab instruments including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal cameras to perform root cause analysis.Required QualificationsMaster's in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, ORBachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.Technical Skills (Required)Hands-on experience with charging systems, DC-DC converters, and AC-DC inverters.Strong debugging and testing capabilities.Proficient in using lab instruments and data acquisition tools.Familiarity with UL, IEC, ISO standards for electrical products.Technical Skills (Preferred)Experience with automated test systems.Exposure to EMI/EMC testing, thermal validation, and environmental durability testing.Working knowledge of CANape and charging system integration.Soft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Creative and analytical thinker with a proactive attitude.Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.Detail-oriented with leadership and mentoring capabilities.Work EnvironmentOffice and lab setting with frequent cross-functional team interaction.
