Job TitleJob Responsibilities: Design the validation test set up, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment used in electrification systems including battery chargers, inverters, dispensers, energy storage systems and electrical distribution to supply the power. Estimate time and cost to complete projects. Simulate and perform validation tests.
Perform data analysis of validation test results Perform data analysis of assets operating in the field (telematics data) Develop schematics and drawings of test site set up Complete reports for validation test results Work with 3rd party suppliers to create scope of work and review and process quotes and purchase ordersRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering required. Electrical engineering degree preferred. 2-4 years experience required.
Will consider individuals with relevant projects in replacement of less work experience. Electrical knowledge in AC and DC systems and electrical distribution systems, such as switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, power electronics Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. Ability to perform details calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications.
Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field.
