Electrical Engineering PositionAssist the Electrical Engineering department with the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems on Cirrus aircraft and/or testbenches. Systems include power generation and distribution, and analog circuit design.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the design, testing, certification, and ongoing engineering support of various aspects of aircraft electrical systems such as power generation and storage, power distribution, wire harness design, etc.Support mechanical and avionics systems with electrical integration details, including circuit design and analysis and electromagnetic effects/radiated field analysis and troubleshooting.Coordinate design development and system integration with subcontractors.Generate certification plans and reports to meet FAR Part 23 requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent) required2-6 years' experience with general aviation avionics development/integrationAviation or automotive electrical system designCircuit board design and analysisPower generation and distributionUse of lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition equipmentExperience using CREO, Matlab, Eagle, VBA, or similar programsWorking in a multifunction teamPerforming trade studiesReading and writing technical documents, such as design specifications, analysis reports, test plans, and test reports.Presenting design reviews to peers and managementAbility to effectively communicate to all levels of the organizationHandle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.Aviation and Pilot experience preferredMust be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English languageAbility to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable mannerUse of lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzersProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA, PTC Windchill PDM, and PTC Creo tools preferredAbility to work both independently and within a cross-functional teamAbility to efficiently learn new skills and manage multiple tasksPay RangeSalary Range: USD $81,611.95/Yr. - USD $122,417.93/Yr.Sign On Bonus
