This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects primarily for the semiconductor manufacturing industry.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.What you'll do:Utilize AutoCADPrepare drawings using computer aided drafting and basic design of electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications services to manufacturing tools, using appropriate design criteria.Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workload and deliver packages, often under tight deadlines.Here's what you'll need:High school graduate or equivalent2+ years experience with AutoCADProficiency in electrical design and layout requirements. Including items such as one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, electrical plan view drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.Strong communication, organization and self-performance skillsAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including remote environment.Ideally, you'll also have:Two-year Associate's Degree in relevant field, such as electrician, instrumentation & controls, constructionExposure to National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC)Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilitiesAdditional Details:This is a hybrid position and may require periodic travel to client sitesPreference to candidates located in Jacobs home office locations; such as Portland Hillsboro, Corvallis OR; Tempe AZ; Pittsburgh PA.Site work will require field mobility including walking for surveys, stairs, access platforms, protective wear, etc.Must pass background check, drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S.
