Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Electrical DesignerYour work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the MEP Hospitality & Entertainment team, based in Raleigh, NCWhat a day at EXP has in store for youCAD proficient in converting engineer's markups into working CAD drawingsPlot drawings for review by engineerPrepare CAD floor plans showing electrical device layouts, circuitry, fixtures, equipment, etc.Perform calculations using Powertools for available fault current and implement proper AIC ratings of equipment with input from engineersPrepare one-line diagrams with input from engineersPrepare electrical loads and develop panel schedules with input from engineersLayout fire alarm devices on floor plans with input from engineersLayout lighting fixtures on plans and demonstrate fundamental knowledge of lighting conceptsUnderstands and correctly applies concepts of emergency and normal power systemsCoordinate device locations, loads, and circuitry with other disciplinesDevelop knowledge of the NEC and other codesPerform lighting calculations and develop models using a lighting photometric program such as Visual or LightProLayout equipment rooms with input from engineersWhat your experience looks likeEngineering Degree required (BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree)0-2 years' experience requiredEIT License (Engineer in training)
