This position offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact environments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.You will design and deliver electrical systems spanning low- and high-voltage power, power distribution and generation, energy storage, lighting, and fire alarm systems for a broad range of project types, including:Mission Critical FacilitiesLaboratories and Research EnvironmentsHealthcare FacilitiesAdvanced ManufacturingCentral Utility Plants and Campus Distribution SystemsCorporate and Commercial DevelopmentsYour Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical designs that meet project objectives, codes, and engineering standardsEnsure accurate, complete, and well-coordinated construction documentationPlan and manage project workloads to align with established schedules and budgetsPerform and/or oversee electrical load studies, system analysis, and calculationsSize and specify equipment and develop system applicationsCoordinate design solutions with architectural teams and other engineering disciplinesMaintain organized project files, calculations, and technical documentationUphold quality assurance standards throughout all phases of designConduct or supervise on-site condition assessments and field investigationsEvaluate staffing needs and support effective resource planningMonitor scope compliance and document deviations as they arisePrepare technical memoranda, reports, and design narrativesParticipate in client meetings and technical discussionsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project team membersYour Capabilities and CredentialsStrong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and emerging technologiesProficiency with electrical engineering design and documentation softwareBroad understanding of electrical engineering principles, with working familiarity across other engineering disciplines and architectureAdvanced analytical and calculation skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesEducation and ExperienceBachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experienceTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
