Electrical DesignerWe are seeking an Electrical Designer to join a growing engineering team in Hampton, GA. This role focuses on creating electrical control drawing packages for high-voltage switchgear and power switching devices. You'll collaborate closely with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams while driving projects from design through customer delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality wiring diagrams and schematic drawing sets for control, motor, and heater circuitsApply ANSI, IEEE, ASTM, CSA, and other industry standards to all design workTroubleshoot wiring and installation issues, issuing documentation for engineering changesCoordinate with sales, vendors, and customers to ensure order fulfillmentSupport occasional site visits for startup, integration, or training needsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering OR 5+ years of CAD drafting experienceProficiency with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)Solid understanding of electrical control and protection systemsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsCompensation & DetailsPay: $62,000+ annually (DOE)Location: Hampton, GA (30228)Schedule: M–F, 8–5 (some flexibility)Overtime: Occasional, paid at 1.5xTravel: Rare, project-related
