Electrical Design TechnicianDirect hire, fully onsite, Southern NH (Salem)Job Responsibilities:Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designsDesign validation testing (major focus on electronics)Conduct testing of mechanical, electrical, and optical components, subsystems and systemsDocument experimental conditions and test resultsBuild prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex partsInspect incoming partsManage lab and lab equipment, including calibrationEffectively interact with other members of the technical team to create a safe, fun, and productive work environmentDesign and verify cablesJob Requirements:Minimum: an associate's degree and 10+ years of professional experience.Experience reworking PCBs, solder to add or remove componentsExperience with at least one data acquisition systemUse of lab equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, Function generator, soldering station, etc.)Ability to read and understand electrical schematicsDebug under the guidance of an EngineerAttention to detailsEagerness to learn new skills and new toolsExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsMSOffice toolsAltium designer (considered a plus)Simple mechanical machining skills (considered a plus)Some 3D mechanical CAD experience (considered a plus)Programming of motor drives (considered a plus)Jr. level layout and design of PCBs (considered a plus)
