We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Tempe, Arizona office.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProficient in the design of low voltage power distribution systems and lighting systems, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, power plans, lighting plans, control schematics, block diagrams, and installation details.Proficient in completing engineering calculations, including load summaries, breaker sizes, conduit and wire sizing, voltage drop, and fault current.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD software.Good understanding of the NFPA 70E National Electrical Code.Strong ability to work independently and efficiently on small to medium electrical and control system design projects.Ability to read and understand P&IDs and control descriptions.Experience in construction administration, field inspection, start-up and commissioning.RequirementsAssociate's degree in electrical engineering technology required.
