Remote Contract General

Electrical Design EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong experience in automated control systems and network communications. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering and will be adept at designing and programming various control systems using Rockwell Automation products.ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on technical engineering and design support for industrial projects.Develop the scope of project work and estimate necessary hours.Issue and conduct QA/QC of design packages for bid and construction.Coordinate and execute design and programming of PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo Motion projects from hardware design to software integration through construction start-up.Coordinate and lead engineering, design, and CAD resources.Lead construction activities as a lead controls engineer along with start-up support.Travel as required (domestic and/or international) for field work and client/business objectives.Demonstrate behavior consistent with company values.Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with others.Communicate effectively across all levels within the organization.Maintain a positive attitude.Interact with clients on a regular basis.Essential Skills8+ years of electrical design engineering experience.Experience with automated controls systems, HMI, AC VFDs, and motion control programming using Rockwell Automation products.Experience with Ethernet, Controlnet, and/or Profibus Network Communications.Experience in sensing technologies, panel design/layout.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is a plus.Proficiency in electrical engineering, electrical design, and overall design skills.Work EnvironmentThe role involves providing hands-on technical engineering and design support for industrial projects. You will develop the scope of project work and estimate the required hours. Expect a collaborative work environment where effective communication across all organizational levels is essential. Travel may be required for fieldwork and other client or business objectives.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of De Pere, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
