If you're passionate about sustainable design, technical excellence, and leading impactful projects, we'd love to hear from you.General ResponsibilitiesPerform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reportPrepare electrical schematic designsDesign EngineeringDesign power single line and riser diagramsPerform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKMLighting fixtures and power equipment selectionPerform lighting and power circuitingDesign and coordinate the lighting control systemPrepare fire alarm device layout based on International Fire Code and NFPA 72Design fire alarm riser diagrams, calculations, and sequence of operationsPrepare enlarged plans, elevations, schedules, and detailsUnderstand and utilize CAD/BIM standardsHave a working knowledge of National Electrical Code and Energy Standards to design medium voltage and low voltage electrical systemsCoordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design teamConstruction AdministrationReview and respond to RFI's.Review equipment submittals.Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport electrical design projects with a focus on lighting systems.Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.Assist with lighting circuiting and lighting controls design.Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP for design documentation.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required).2-5 years of experience in electrical design.Experience with lighting design preferred.Familiarity with Title 24 compliance is a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required).AGi software experience is a plus.EIT license is a plus.Association with IES/IEEE is a plus.P2S|CMTA is an equal opportunity employer.
