Electrical Design Engineer (FPGA Firmware)Responsibilities for this exciting role will include:Collaborate with the hardware and embedded software engineer to design FPGA Firmware for high-performance mixed-signal systems.Define FPGA Firmware requirement specifications and develop design projects from concept design to production release.Responsible for designing the test benches for simulation, timing analysis/closure, FPGA functionality verification and test scripts for validation.Debug the whole system with hardware and software engineer together.Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for manufacturing / service team as required.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with complex FPGA firmware designsProficiency with FPGA design tools such as Synplify, ISE, Vivado, Quartus.Familiar with FPGA simulation tools like VCS, Modelsim or equivalent.Proficiency with Hardware description language such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog.Understand FPGA timing analysis and be enable to solve timing related issues.Hands on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope etc.Teammate with excellent written and verbal communications skills.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) or work experience of 0 years, Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 4 yearsBase Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
