Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, and harness documentation using AutoCAD.
- Research aircraft systems and integrate electrical modifications for retrofit aircraft programs.
- Develop engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with customer and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and certification teams to support aircraft modifications.
- Support electrical analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and installation activities as needed.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm (Flexible start time)
Pay: $80,000-$110,000 annually
Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications
- Aerospace industry experience is required.
- Experience creating wire diagrams, wire installation drawings, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or electrical schematics.
- CAD experience required. AutoCAD is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Engineering degree is not required. Equivalent aerospace electrical or technical experience will be considered.
