-Complete Engineering design tasks and projects assignments which support production activities.
-Coordinates own tasks to ensure schedule and dates are met considering vendor and production lead times. Includes maintaining task status and recording time speed on each task.
-Creates Engineering designs that meet customer specifications, Technical Summaries, other contracts documents and ensure designs are within manufacturing abilities.
-Works with engineers to develop drawing packages and layouts to ensure compliance with design criteria.
-Assist engineers with completion of and or initiates-controlled testing of components and installations to meet contractual obligations, ensure product reliability and verify component fit.
-Completes Technical Engineering drawings and release documents in accordance with Engineering procedures and ECNs - Engineering Change Notices.
-Provide Engineering support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departments as needed.
-Interacts with vendors and customers on design related issues. Ensures that, where applicable, there are documents of vendor approval on new installations or applications.
-Check Engineering documents as authorized by Engineering Manager.
-Any other duties as necessary
Requirements
Education
Intermediate Engineer - Engineering College Graduate.
Minimum 2 to 5 years of vehicle design experience - preferred.
Experience/Knowledge
-SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD modeling software
-Zuken Wire Harness Design is a plus

- Goal orientated and motivation to achieve tasks within set timelines.
- Starter with high level of initiative and ability to work independently.

Physical Activity/Requirements
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and
climbing along with sitting for extended period of time.
Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.
