Electrical Controls EngineerThe Electrical Controls Engineer will provide electrical and controls engineering to allow the organization to accomplish its objectives & goals. Work within a team other skilled technicians and engineers to continuously improve and enable manufacturing systems to achieve production objectives. Spearhead innovative solutions and bring forth resources both internal and external to get projects completed on time and on budget.
All work must be done in compliance with AS9100, EPD, OSHA, Local, State, and Federal standards, and regulations. Initiate and manage capital projects.Responsibilities:Design and implement reliable, efficient, user and maintenance friendly control systems to meet the requirements of production operations. The design must meet all OSHA general industry safety rules.Build and develop and maintain a comprehensive OEE database for all critical manufacturing equipment.Perform parts selection, analysis, simulation, and schematic capture for control and power electronics.Perform system integration including debugging and troubleshootingAssist in direction of maintenance technicians and ensure that they have the appropriate tools, skills, and training to be a world class maintenance organization.Fully document all projects and equipment as required to maintain in proper functioning condition.Plan for and manage capital and expense related projects.
Ensure that all projects remain within allocated budgets.Maintain optimal equipment efficiency to stay within process specifications established by Quality and Industrial Engineering.
