Electrical Controls Engineer- ManufacturingWe're looking for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment where every day brings new challenges. This is a hands-on plant engineering role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the low-voltage electrical and control systems (480V and under) that keep production running safely and efficiently.You'll work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to identify root causes, improve equipment reliability, support and improve PLC-based automation and control systems, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility. If you prefer being on the plant floor solving real-world problems instead of sitting behind a desk all day, we'd like to hear from you.Compensation & Benefits Salary: $110,000–$135,000, depending on experience Benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation, personal time, and holidaysLife and disability insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Ongoing training and career growth opportunitiesWhat You'll DoTroubleshoot electrical equipment and production systems to minimize downtime and improve reliabilitySupport and maintain low-voltage power distribution, motor controls, control panels, and electrical infrastructure (480V and under)Troubleshoot, program, and modify PLC, HMI, and VFD systems on automated manufacturing equipmentPartner with maintenance teams to identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actionsSupport preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performanceAssist with equipment upgrades, control circuit design and modifications, and new equipment installationsMaintain electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentationEnsure work is performed in compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety standardsCollaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant performance and safetyWhat We're Looking For Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field3+ years of electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, processing, or heavy production environmentExperience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems in a live production settingWorking knowledge of: PLCsHMIsVFDsMotor controlsLow-voltage power distribution systems (480V and under)Industrial control circuitsExperience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical drafting softwareAbility to work comfortably in a manufacturing facility and support production equipment on the plant floorMust be able to commute to or relocate to the Tulsa, OK areaPreferred QualificationsExperience designing, programming, or modifying PLC-based control systemsExperience supporting continuous improvement or equipment reliability initiativesExperience with equipment upgrades, retrofits, or capital improvement projectsFamiliarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programsSchedule & Work Environment Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Travel: Occasional travel between local facilities This position is based in a manufacturing facility and combines office work with regular time on the production floor.
