Our client in Fairdale, KY is actively looking for an Electrical Controls Assembler to join their team.

Position Description

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Team Leader – Electrical Controls Production. The Electrical Controls Assembler will be responsible for assembling electrical and electronic components, wiring, and preparing products for final inspection and packaging. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and has a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn new tasks and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fabricate electrical and electronic components as directed by the supervisor.
  • Wire motors, junction boxes, harnesses, and switches according to specifications.
  • Perform final inspections of assembled products to ensure quality standards are met before packaging.
  • Record completed orders and maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Identify and report quality issues, defects, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Assist with the preparation and application of labels and decals for production.
  • Prepare wire harnesses and electrical assemblies for production.
  • Provide general production and assembly support as required.
  • Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when assembling components and preparing orders.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with assembly line operations.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic manufacturing or assembly.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Properly use and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Immediately report any safety violations, unsafe conditions, or potential hazards to the supervisor.
  • Report any workplace risks, including potential incidents of violence or harassment, to the supervisor.
  • Never remove or disable safety guards or protective devices without an approved temporary replacement, and ensure all original protective devices are reinstated once work is completed.
  • Operate equipment, machinery, and tools safely and responsibly to prevent injury to yourself and others.
  • Understand and follow established safe work practices and procedures.
  • Attend all required health and safety training, including WHMIS and workplace orientation, and apply the knowledge gained to daily tasks.

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
