Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Job Description
* Design electrical systems and equipment for innovative industrial machines
* Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations
* Prepare accurate cost and material estimates for projects
* Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing team members during installation and troubleshooting
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define new product development opportunities
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability
* Design and develop safety programs for automation systems including robotics
* Review and validate safety performance level of control systems
* Provide technical recommendations to ensure seamless integration of third-party equipment
Required Skills
* 1-3 years of proven experience working in an industrial automation manufacturing environment
* Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field with a focus on the manufacturing of automated industrial machinery - will consider a Technician who is able to Design electrical systems
* Knowledge in electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices such as NFPA, UL, and NEC
* Strong proficiency with CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
* Familiarity with automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols
* Ability to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure proper operation of machines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
* Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Travel up to 15%
