Electrical Control Engineer

For this Electrical Controls Engineer role, the ideal candidate is a hands-on electrical engineer who combines controls programming expertise with practical manufacturing-floor troubleshooting experience .
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering
* Ideally 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, controls engineering, automation, or manufacturing engineering
* Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas equipment, heavy equipment, or similar production environment
* Strong PLC programming experience, particularly ladder logic
* Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs
* Strong ability to read and create electrical schematics
* Experience specifying and sizing electrical components
* Hands-on electrical troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems
* Experience designing or modifying control panels and control systems
* Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC experience
* VFDs and servo drives
* I/O racks and industrial controls hardware
* HMI programming/integration
* Control panel design and component selection
* Experience working with vendors and developing equipment specifications
* Experience preparing project cost estimates and capital equipment requests
