Position: Electrical CAD Technician
Compensation: $ 28 - 30 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Englewood, Colorado
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!
This is a strong contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys turning concepts into precise electrical drawings. You’ll support important federal projects, work with established drafting standards, and gain exposure to a collaborative engineering environment with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Revise existing electrical drawings with accuracy
- Prepare basic component drawings from sketches or instructions
- Apply client drafting standards and procedures
- Work with vector and raster files in AutoCAD and Microstation
- Review drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain clear time tracking across assigned projects
- Support engineering review with well-organized deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma with drafting coursework or CAD certification
- Entry-level to two years of drafting experience
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Microstation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Legally authorized to work permanently without sponsorship
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Associate degree in computer-aided drafting and design
- Previous internship experience in drafting or consulting
- Experience with higher-level CAD commands and routines
- Strong attention to detail in technical documentation
