Electrical Assistant Project ManagerKavaliro's client is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager for a hybrid position in Atlanta, GA. Essential job duties include:Supporting branch project managers in their day-to-day operations as well as managing their own projects.Supporting field operations by ensuring coordination of communications, timely material orders, and accurate project schedules.Ensuring a safe workplace for every employee while following and ensuring all company policies and procedures are being adhered to.Recommending areas for cost efficiencies, branch opportunities, and execution of the region's vision.Major duties and responsibilities include:Ensuring all permits and plan reviews are coordinated in a timely manner.Ensuring appropriate quality and quantity of materials are ordered to meet daily workflows on assigned projects.Attending project meetings, as required.Coordinating subcontractors.Ensuring field supervisor and foreman are aware of any specialized needs.Ensuring all direct charges are appropriately recorded to the job and in a timely fashion.Ensuring all change orders are tracked, recorded, and provided to the customer in a timely fashion.Coordinating, collaborating, and communicating in a respectful manner to field personnel, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure jobs run as efficiently as possible.Ensuring that field leaders and all project manpower has the correct wage structure incorporated into all projects under their control.Monitoring project manpower resources and project workload, with the help of the project manager, to coordinate the assignment of manpower as needed to ensure that labor is managed in the most effective manner possible.Maintaining knowledge of quality field leader candidates to ensure the ability to perform work as needed. Taking advantage of networking opportunities to recruit new field leaders.Coordinating periodic meetings with job teams to review project status to ensure efficient, accurate, and budget sensitive completion.Providing the best possible environment to motivate field employees and maintain the highest possible morale in the office and on the job site.Defining and analyzing problems in a timely manner and making expedient decisions consistent with the ethical standards and policies established by the company.Attending an internal job kickoff meeting with the project manager and field leader once a project has been awarded.

This meeting is being held to provide execution details of the project to the field leader so that he has a thorough understanding of the job from the beginning.Assisting field supervisor with setting benchmarking objectives for job completion.Preparing, managing, and distributing appropriate documentation for job close out in coordination with company policies and procedures.Analyzing, preparing, coordinating, and providing monthly job progress reports.Consistently visiting job sites to ensure the efficiency of the jobs and to create a collaborative relationship with the client.Requires 75% travel to client sites throughout the southeast.Qualifications include:AAS degree in construction management, project management, business, or related field and/orMinimum of 1+ years experience in an equivalent or similar role or equivalent combination of experience and educational background.Ability to manage multiple projects sizing from $0 - $1 million dollars at any particular time.Proven judgment and ability to motivate, mentor, and train employees to maximum individual and team efforts.Strong attention to detail.Proven leadership qualities and the ability to communicate with direct reports in a clear, logical, concise, and timely manner.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and functions at a single point in time.Trade inspection in various jurisdictions.Microsoft suite.Power Bi, Accubid, and Viewpoint Vista a plus.Physical qualifications include:Ability to sit, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift items not to exceed 75 pounds.Ability to climb, crawl, and squat as job site access may demand.Kavaliro provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
