Has knowledge in electrical and mechanical assembly. Assembles individual components in small to large assemblies.
Uses hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous power tools and equipment. Gains or has attained full proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the areas of assembly. Works independently within established procedures.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to train peersAdvocate for Design for Assembly and Continuous Improvement ideas and suggestionsElectrical assembly of machines and machine optionsTroubleshoot and repair assembly errors quickly and effectivelyAbility to read and comprehend method sheets, work instructions, and basic engineering drawingsProvided feedback to cross functional manufacturing teamFollow directions from lead assembler and supervisor.Accurately prepares paperwork as assigned.Utilizes, maintains and cares for all Sharp Packaging supplied tools.Accurately read and follow electrical schematics to wire control panels and machines.Fiber optic terminationsFamiliarity with different sensors, controls components, actuators, etc.
