Electrical AssemblerWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler with soldering experience to join a growing manufacturing team in Lenexa, KS. This position is perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on assembly work and takes pride in producing high-quality electrical components. Candidates with experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions will thrive in this role.
This is an associate to hire opportunity.Electrical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to detailed schematics and technical drawingsUse hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to accurately install wiring, connectors, and electronic partsInterpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to ensure correct assembly processesConduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify circuit integrity and functionalityMaintain cleanliness and organization of workstations while adhering to safety protocols during all assembly activitiesCollaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to electrical wiring, component placement, or mechanical fitElectrical Assembler Requirements:Prior experience with assembly, soldering, cable and wire harness assemblyElectrical experience including testing with ohmmeters or multimeters; familiarity with power tools is beneficialExperience working with IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirableKnowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and the use of hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, and wire strippersMechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical components and assembly processesAbility to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise assembly workAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds occasionallyAbility to work in an environment with varying noise levels, ranging from quiet to extremely loudStrong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling small electronic partsMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protectionIND137 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
