Electrical AssemblerLocation: Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina Type: Contract Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly Contractor Work Model: OnsiteElectrical Assembler:Duties Include:Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructionsAbility to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized mannerRoutes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boardsNumerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructionsOperate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippersConducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixturesUse of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectorsPerform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished productsWire harness assembly experience highly preferredQualification and Skills:Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitudeMotivated and detail orientedAttention to detail, excellent hand dexterityProficient in basic math skillsWire harness experiencePossesses good communication skills and a great attitudeEssential Job Functions:Ability to stand while workingLifting Requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposesAbility to handle small partsPull/push motion up to 10lbs frequently
