Electrical AssemblerA manufacturing company is seeking Electrical Assemblers to work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Job DutiesAssemble, wire, and test electrical control cabinets, control panels, and electro-mechanical systems in accordance with established specifications, drawings, and proceduresPerform control panel and cabinet assembly, including point-to-point wiring, wire termination, labeling, and installation of electrical componentsInstall electrical and electro-mechanical components such as terminal blocks, relays, contactors, power supplies, switches, circuit protection devices, connectors, sensors, and other hardwarePerform mechanical assembly of cabinets, panels, enclosures, brackets, and related hardware using mechanical fasteners and standard assembly techniquesRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materialPerform electrical continuity, functional, and system-level testing to verify assemblies meet established requirementsTroubleshoot wiring, component, and assembly issues and make necessary correctionsConduct daily quality checks of completed assemblies and document discrepancies on the Quality Improvement SheetMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety and quality proceduresCommunicate assembly, quality, material, or drawing issues to the appropriate supervisor or engineering personnelUtilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and other mechanical/electrical assembly tools, electrical test equipment and test fixtures, and measuring and inspection toolsAdhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
