Duties/Responsibilities:

Read, learn, understand, and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Read, understand, and interpret more complex ruler measurements.

Advanced soldering and crimping skills.

Ability to identify and pick out various sizes of wire for production.

Knowledge of crimping machine and changing of dies in bench top crimper.

Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipment.

Assemble or modify electronic equipment, position, align and adjust work pieces and electronic parts to facilitate wiring assembly.

Additional responsibilities, such as packaging and/or spot-checking others work

Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during and/or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Advanced knowledge of all positions - go to person for assembly questions.

Responsible for In-process inspection of all class 3 work, proper documentation, and proper method of assembly.

Capable of setting up jobs and filling out paperwork for production.

Able to troubleshoot as needed.

Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with the ability to speak and understand English

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers

Advanced soldering and crimping skills

Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment.

Time management

Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions

May be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids
