Whether you're building cutting-edge infrastructure, supporting field operations, or driving business development, you'll play a vital role in upholding our core values and delivering on our business objectives.Job SummaryThe Electrical Apprentice is responsible for assisting the Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician with the installation of electrical equipment and materials.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the installation of electrical equipment, including cabinets, meters, sub-metering, conduit, and wiringAdhere to all Company, customer, and regulatory safety policies, including OSHA requirements and proper use of PPERead and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics as directedUtilize electrical testing equipment as requiredAssist with site preparation, grounding, bonding, and basic troubleshooting under supervisionMaintain a clean and orderly work environmentComplete all required Company documentationOther duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.EducationHigh school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school educationExperienceOne to two years of electrical experienceLess than one-year of wireless telecommunications industry experienceAbility to operate hand and power toolsKnowledge of electrical codes and licensingMust have or obtain and maintain OSHA Construction 10-hour Safety Training CardMust have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certificationMust have or obtain and maintain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certificationKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Understanding of conduit bending and wire pulling techniquesAbility to measure, cut, and assemble electrical conduit and wiringWillingness to learn and follow instructions related to electrical codes and standardsTechnical SkillsComputer and Microsoft Office proficiencyBasic understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring methodsAbility to assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electricianFamiliarity with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work (e.g., wire strippers, drills, multimeters)Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and diagrams with guidanceBasic troubleshooting skills to identify and report issues to senior electriciansBasic math skills for measuring, calculating loads, and determining material needsFamiliarity with lockout/tagout procedures and safe work practicesSoft SkillsConsistently demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Works effectively as part of a team; supports a positive and collaborative work environment. Follows instructions and accepts direction from licensed electricians and supervisors. Manages time effectively to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Maintains awareness of surroundings and safety risks while working with heavy equipment. Takes accountability for tools, materials, and assigned responsibilities.Physical RequirementsMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testingMust have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularlyAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and grasp materials and tools with both handsAbility to work long hours in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, or snowAbility to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of timeAbility to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall protection, hard hat, safety glasses, and glovesComfortable working in confined spaces and at varying elevationsAbility to work long and unpredictable hoursAbility to travel away from home up to 75% of the time, including weekends and extended travel.
