Exact hourly rate and per diem will be discussed during the screening/interview process.Position details:Work will be performed in a shipyard environmentSchedule will be 5–7 days per weekWorkdays will typically be 8–12 hours per dayHours and schedule may vary depending on production needsCandidates must be flexible, dependable, and willing to work extended hoursMust be comfortable working in a shipboard/industrial environmentElectrical apprentice license a plusMust be able to start immediatelyResponsibilities:Assist electricians with general electrical work and job-site tasksBand/bend and groom electrical conduit and materialsHelp prepare, organize, and move materials and toolsAssist with electrical installations as directed by the lead electricianMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all company and job-site safety proceduresWork effectively as part of an electrical crewQualifications:Previous electrical, construction, industrial, or shipyard experience is a plusWillingness to learn and follow instructionsReliable and dependableAble to work long hours and a variable scheduleComfortable working aboard a ship and in an industrial environmentMust be able to start immediatelyImmediate openings available.
